Last Frontier Farm (owned by Sharon White) hosted its annual derby cross horse trial - JUMP! - on Monday, July 4th. The courses are a combination of stadium-style and cross-country jumps designed to be ridden at appropriate division-level speeds. Team Cadence showed up (patriotic gear and all!) with four horse and rider combos and had a great time. Riders were able to walk the course with Sharon before their division. There were a lot of bright and distracting obstacles but all of the horses took everything in stride - everyone agreed that it was a very fun (and festive) way to spend the 4th of July!
